Freezes north or south

This app freezes and only shows north or south when it loses its connection to the internet.
Works fine on iphone, wont work on ipad2 if it is NOT connected to internet.
I guess it has something to do with using the current time to calculate right ascension and declination.
Why wont use the Ipad internal clock?

Cant connect to the developers website.
