The ads destroy your night vision, and it doesnt re-calibrate at all. You can spin completely and when the app catches up, it shows you the exact same thing you were previously viewing. Total garbage.

Polaris shows just above the horizon no matter what direction i am facing. I checked compass and I treads correctly. I checked location services and they are also enabled. In this condition the app is basically useless. Whatever happened to Google Sky Map?

Used to work fine on iPhone5, OS9.0.2 and now cant find north or any other direction (compass stuck on NNW) on new iPhone6S. Drat!!

Its simple and easy to use. The app is having issues turning left and right after I upgraded to iOS 9. Im sure thatll get fix. The start button seems pointless. If the location needs to be entered manually, it should be in the settings.

the compass portion of this app stinks! not working at all. no matter where I point the phone it is always displaying and jumping around north. then if I want to pause the compass part, and move the map myself, it wont rotate. which is extremely annoying. this app used to be good. but is complete garbage right now

Looking up at 2:30am seeing Orion. Then seeing Leo. Then a few hours later seeing Venus,Jupiter, and Mars wish I had a phone and app like this one thirty years ago. Great app

Please change the location services in the app from always to while using the app

Nice app but not free if you want to enjoy it without ads. Fonts too small to read and no way to enlarge. Much better apps available for the same price when you factor in the fee required to eliminate the ads.

Used to love this app. Doesnt work in iOS 9 any longer. :(

I had this app before on my other phone and it was great! So I got it again and Im very disappointed. Every direction I point my phone and says its north. Very annoying! Ive tried other apps in the meantime, but theyre not that great. Hoping sky map doesnt update soon

There is no reason this app needs to know your location when youre not using it, except to intrude on your privacy. Other similar apps invoke your location only while you are using the app, but this app does not provide any such option. Fail.

But dont complain...its free. Or pay to get rid of them. The app is not bad, stable, and mostly effective. Please add the international space station

My mother-in-law and I downloaded this app at the same time. She can see all the planets, etc. works great for her. Mine is stuck! I cant see anything except one strip of the sky! Can you find a fix??! I even paid to have the adds removed to see if that helped - no such luck. Please make mine work too.

Not sure why people are rating it bad for having a banner ad displayed... I expected something worse from the number of vicious complaints... "ADS?!?? In SPACE!!?!" If you are so upset just pay the 1.99 support the developer! Great app does everything I could have imagined.

What exactly is this thing showing? Everything about it is wayyyy off. 1- i think it should come w tips because im sure it needs a few settings in your phone turned on. When i get an iphone i turn a lot off. 2- i tried deleting the app and downloading it again because the 1st time i didnt give it location access. But that didnt matter it was still way off. Weird thing, it works fine on my friends phone. Hes the one that recommended it. We pointed our apps at the same thing and even he admitted mines was way off the 1st n 2nd try (with & without location access). By the way- i also tried turning on compass and compass calibration settings hoping that made a dif but it did not.

This is a really great app. I wish I did not live in the city. I want to see more.

Having issues getting it to recognize that I am, in fact, in Western North America in April. At 3 o clock in the afternoon, apparently the sun is not up. I input my coordinates manually, too. Otherwise, promising app if I could get it to work correctly. We want to watch the meteor shower tonight, pretty sure we can figure out what 180 degrees from what this is showing me is ;)

I love using it! I cant find alpha centauri star sistem, though :(
